If Auguste Boyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Rambaud hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Alphonse Coupez hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Marin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibault Delgrange to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Marin getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Harold Rambaud hit a great ball. Jean Lavalette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Roguet's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Jimmy Ferrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francois-Xavier Landon in the 27th minute of the match. Marin's Jimmy Ferrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francois-Xavier Landon in the 30th minute of play. Thibault Delgrange hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Bernard Roguet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Marsinge's Jean Lavalette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Roguet in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Roguet in the 62nd minute of play forced Marsinge's goalkeeper Jean Lavalette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin's Jimmy Ferrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Doumenc in the 64th minute of play. If Bernard Roguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Thibault Delgrange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marin and the Marsinge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thibault Delgrange kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Bernard Roguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Lavalette having to interfere. Bruno Doumenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francois-Xavier Landon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jimmy Ferrie made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Bruno Doumenc fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bruno Doumenc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Ferrie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Malcom Marchadier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Lavalette having to interfere. Bernard Roguet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Lavalette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When Malcom Marchadier came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Marin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcom Marchadier couldn't finish the play. Harold Rambaud charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harold Rambaud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Harold Rambaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Jimmy Ferrie managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Marsinge's Francois-Xavier Landon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
