When Alex Couffin fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stockfeld's protests and gave Alex Couffin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bois Impérial booed when Stockfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Couffin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Étienne Theron notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Stockfeld's Harry Carel. Harry Carel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Émeric Depoorter had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The audience was convinced that Mickaël Wawrzyniak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romaric Supiot was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The referee showed John-Paul Plisson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kévin Gosse got free with Harry Carel in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the game, Dylan Chamard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Harry Carel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erwann Clary to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mickaël Wawrzyniak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Stockfeld getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Melvin Chausson hit a great ball. Erwann Clary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erwann Clary came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Bois Impérial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwann Clary couldn't finish the play. Erwann Clary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Stockfeld's zone, Erwann Clary stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Carel came out of the goal and Erwann Clary tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Erwann Clary managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bois Impérial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwann Clary was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Carel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwann Clary, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, John-Paul Plisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bois Impérial's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
