The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tim Baudin took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamza Desveaux. Hamza Desveaux dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hamza Desveaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Baudin in the 8th minute of play. Robert Bouly kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Pierre-Henri Boutier kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Corentin Caillol could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Jolan Steunou however easily saved by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Sammy Quentel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jolan Steunou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jocelyn Tirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hamza Desveaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Mourad Rabineau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Labège's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mulocherie the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Labège was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Rabineau to maneuver through the defense. Corentin Caillol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corentin Caillol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Ball in the 47th minute of play forced Mulocherie's goalkeeper Jolan Steunou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Baudin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hamza Desveaux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Baudin in the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mulocherie's zone, Corentin Caillol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jolan Steunou came out of the goal and Corentin Caillol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Ball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jolan Steunou having to interfere. Michel Teinturier charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Teinturier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Mulocherie got a freekick which was hit by Michel Teinturier. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Michel Bataillard put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Labège fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Hamza Desveaux had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ramzi Schwartz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
