Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tanguy Wild took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pascal Matray's late challenge caught a Sergy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Matray helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Tanneron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Matray to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Sergy's Walter Leprévost broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Tanneron's Georges Ple got control of the ball when Sacha Lernould tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanguy Wild in the 13th minute of play forced Tanneron's goalkeeper Georges Ple to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sacha Lernould managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sergy's supporters rose to their feet, but Sacha Lernould was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georges Ple breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sergy booed when Tanneron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Monie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Leprévost, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sergy's Sacha Lernould got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georges Ple showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanguy Wild, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Aymerick Blondy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute of the match Andre Dumay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georges Bouzidi skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute Tanguy Wild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georges Ple saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aymerick Blondy made a kick off. Tanguy Wild's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georges Ple read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Tanguy Wild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanguy Wild in the 62nd minute of play forced Tanneron's goalkeeper Georges Ple to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Said received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Georges Bouzidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Yver kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Aymerick Blondy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Portes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Tanneron got a freekick which was hit by Andre Dumay. A collision led to Tanneron getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eliott Poissonnier hit a great ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tanneron's goalkeeper Georges Ple, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sacha Lernould sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergy's Georges Bouzidi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sergy from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
