With a little luck, Angers's Pierre-Emmanuel Cayol got control of the ball when Anthony Cante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pierre Briez took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierre-Emmanuel Cayol. Pierre-Emmanuel Cayol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudy Gac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudy Gac was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre-Emmanuel Cayol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Gac couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes, Alphonse Constantin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angers and the Avully players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pierre-Emmanuel Cayol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Gac in the 95th minute of the match. Pierre-Emmanuel Cayol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre Briez went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Avully's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
