Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Jezequel in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathys Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Bakary Werquin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Augustin Capet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brocey's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veyrie the free kick. Steven Flavigny hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Brocey's Ruben Tourneur tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bakary Werquin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mathys Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brocey's Hercule Ducouret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Bieber in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Brocey's Bakary Werquin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathys Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bakary Werquin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathys Romero was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Mathys Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Jezequel in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Bakary Werquin in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mathys Romero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bakary Werquin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathys Romero having to interfere. Mathieu Riche kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Veyrie's Serge Bouquillon got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mathias Jezequel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Brocey's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Bouquillon came free, but Hercule Ducouret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Aziz Fourmond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hercule Ducouret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Bouquillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Steven Flavigny hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Joey Bieber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hercule Ducouret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Bakary Werquin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Jezequel in the 80th minute of play forced Veyrie's goalkeeper Mathys Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakary Werquin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathys Romero having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Veyrie's zone, Aziz Fourmond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathys Romero came out of the goal and Aziz Fourmond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
