Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Isaac Bal made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Zimmersheim's Lenny Maffre got a free kick in the 9th minute. Baptiste Darbon struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Joffrey Favard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zimmersheim. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Bal in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joffrey Favard saved Castillon from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Zimmersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Croce came free, but Alix Bonnefond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Grégory Gassmann fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zimmersheim's protests and gave Grégory Gassmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Xavier Pasquet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half Zimmersheim were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Croce to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Xavier Pasquet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alix Bonnefond was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joffrey Favard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Bal's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Zimmersheim's Alix Bonnefond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Croce in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Castillon getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Yazid Fabien hit a great ball. The supporters of Castillon booed when Zimmersheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Logez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Castillon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Fabien to maneuver through the defense. Grégoire Le Clerc charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 93 minutes, Isaac Bal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zimmersheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Bal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Bal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joffrey Favard having to interfere.
