Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eymeric Le Cam started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Blaise Esnault charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blaise Esnault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, Castelmaurou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blaise Esnault to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the game, Maxime Rivoal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castelmaurou's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portes the free kick. Maxime Rivoal kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Castelmaurou's Alexandre Ruffier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eymeric Le Cam in the 9th minute of play. Karim Zerbib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Jouannet having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Portes's zone, Karim Zerbib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Jouannet came out of the goal and Karim Zerbib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Fabian Viollet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Massonnet in the 17th minute of play forced Castelmaurou's goalkeeper Alexandre Ruffier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louis Wagon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Castelmaurou's Blaise Esnault tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Prosper Massonnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Castelmaurou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles-Henri Nugues to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Blaise Esnault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Jouannet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Coupin in the 32nd minute of the match. Portes's Paulo Jouannet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Zerbib in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Castelmaurou got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Henri Nugues. In the 40th match minute, Portes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prosper Massonnet to maneuver through the defense. Karim Zerbib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Paulo Jouannet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karim Zerbib made a kick off. Castelmaurou's Alexandre Ruffier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eymeric Le Cam in the 57th minute of play. Prosper Massonnet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alexandre Ruffier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eymeric Le Cam let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 74th minute shot 0-1 at rihgt post. After 81 minutes, Charly Coupin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castelmaurou and the Portes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Portes booed when Castelmaurou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charly Coupin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eymeric Le Cam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Ruffier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eymeric Le Cam, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Prosper Massonnet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Ruffier having to make a save. In the 95th minute of the match Blaise Esnault shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Jouannet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Portes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
