In the 3rd minute, Vicq's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romeo Demilly fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Vicq getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kamel Chartrain hit a great ball. Léon Bée showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Geyer in the 10th minute of the match. Jean-Yves Bertoux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Félicien Guin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Léon Bée. Mède's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Vicq's goalkeeper Victorien Brelivet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Demilly. After 21 played minutes Vicq got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Chartrain. Romeo Demilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Félicien Guin fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vicq's protests and gave Félicien Guin a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Vicq got a freekick which was hit by Félicien Guin. Victorien Brelivet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germain Blériot in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Jean-Yves Bertoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léon Bée saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mède's Rayan Bonhomme shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victorien Brelivet but with some difficulty. A collision led to Vicq getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Carl Cadet hit a great ball. Geoffrey Warembourg kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Geyer in the 41st minute of play forced Mède's goalkeeper Léon Bée to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Demilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mède's Germain Blériot in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vicq's goalie prevented a goal. Romeo Demilly might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorien Brelivet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Demilly ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mède's Germain Blériot in the 50th minute got a chance for a shot 50th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vicq's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Vicq were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germain Blériot made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Carl Cadet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Yves Bertoux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Léon Bée tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jean-Yves Bertoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léon Bée took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Geyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Vicq's Jean-Yves Bertoux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léon Bée made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 70 minutes into the match, Mède's Germain Blériot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorien Brelivet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germain Blériot in the 71st minute of play forced Vicq's goalkeeper Victorien Brelivet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Mède's Germain Blériot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorien Brelivet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mède getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Geoffrey Warembourg hit a great ball. Cyrille Manchon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Cyrille Manchon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicq's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyrille Manchon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 97 minutes on the clock, Samy Le Flem commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 96th minute, one of Vicq:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vicq. Vicq played a much better game than Mède and deserved their victory. The Mède players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
