Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pétrie's Jean-Marie Paoli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bacary Camara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédéric Heckmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Éthan Castellani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pétrie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beaubreuil the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Pétrie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éthan Castellani to maneuver through the defense. Robin Priou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean-Marie Paoli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when André Barbet sped through Beaubreuil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robin Priou. If Frédéric Heckmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédéric Heckmann in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bacary Camara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Pétrie got a freekick which was hit by Jules Chapalain. If Greg Le Blay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Beaubreuil booed when Pétrie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabé Coquel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greg Le Blay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bacary Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frédéric Heckmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Barbet struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Robin Priou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pétrie. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jean-Marie Paoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pétrie's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Marie Paoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Priou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes of play, Pétrie's Jean-Marie Paoli made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Priou was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jean-Marie Paoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pétrie getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Victorien Fayard hit a great ball. Frédéric Heckmann struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Jean-Marie Paoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Priou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Beaubreuil's zone, Jean-Marie Paoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Priou came out of the goal and Jean-Marie Paoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Beaubreuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoann Franquet to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, André Barbet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Robin Priou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Marie Paoli in the 77th minute of play forced Beaubreuil's goalkeeper Robin Priou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bacary Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédéric Heckmann in the 83rd minute of play. When Jules Chapalain came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pétrie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jules Chapalain couldn't finish the play. Frédéric Heckmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bacary Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Greg Le Blay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
