The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Firmin Courrier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jordy Guinard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Sart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djibril Soulas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Firmin Courrier. Vany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute, Kevan Lamirand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georges Ponthieux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
