After 3 played minutes Alex Floquet rounded Viblac's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 7th minute Alex Floquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Mesnier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olivier Baranger during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olivier Baranger hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Louison Mangin's late challenge caught a Peuplingues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louison Mangin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Louison Mangin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Mesnier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Floquet in the 18th minute of the match. Louison Mangin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Honore Barbereau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34thth minute of the game Alex Floquet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viblac's Nelson Mesnier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armand Vallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nelson Mesnier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alex Floquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Floquet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Mesnier having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Armand Vallin struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Nelson Mesnier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peuplingues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Floquet in the 53rd minute of play forced Viblac's goalkeeper Nelson Mesnier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson Mesnier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Vallin in the 66th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viblac fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Terry Souverain might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jason Duval. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terry Souverain ran back to his position shaking his head. Honore Barbereau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alex Floquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Honore Barbereau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peuplingues's Jason Duval was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Terry Souverain came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Viblac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Souverain couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute of the match Didier Soudan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Mesnier skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Viblac players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peuplingues.
