Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Jacques Mahu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laudière's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacques Mahu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frédéric Levieux came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Salomon's Garci Unzueta. But to his dismay, Garci Unzueta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Garci Unzueta came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Salomon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garci Unzueta couldn't finish the play. Charles Loubet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Christophe Orcel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédéric Levieux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garci Unzueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steven Arthaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Steven Arthaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salomon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Arthaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Charles Loubet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christophe Orcel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Garci Unzueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédéric Levieux having to interfere. Christophe Orcel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacques Mahu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Pierrick Coutellier lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salomon! Salomon:s Christophe Orcel showed great skill when he stopped Nathan Stéphant:s penalty. Christophe Orcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacques Mahu in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Marc Orhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacques Mahu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacques Mahu in the 53rd minute of play forced Salomon's goalkeeper Christophe Orcel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Laudière's Albert Balavoine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christophe Orcel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles Loubet succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Christophe Orcel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertrand Omnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Christophe Orcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacques Mahu in the 61st minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christophe Orcel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute Bertrand Omnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Orcel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Laudière's Charles Loubet made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christophe Orcel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Marc Orhan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salomon's protests and gave Marc Orhan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laudière booed when Salomon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Orhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Loubet in the 88th minute of play forced Salomon's goalkeeper Christophe Orcel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Loubet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hugh Eagles fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salomon's protests and gave Hugh Eagles a yellow card for diving instead. Hugh Eagles kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Christophe Orcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Loubet in the 96th minute of play. Salomon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
