Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jim Couty took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd play minute Cyrille Rolle came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfred Cunin. 1-0. Antoine Béguin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romain Valet having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Châteaurenard's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Allix came free, but Alfred Cunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Johan Allix had to leave the field with a concussion. When Ghislain Moret fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Châteaurenard's protests and gave Ghislain Moret a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the game, one of Châteaurenard:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Champanod a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jean-Philippe Reynes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Châteaurenard's Alfred Cunin. 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Châteaurenard's goalkeeper Alfred Cunin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyrille Rolle. Alfred Cunin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyrille Rolle went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot 39 in the game by Cyrille Rolle from a close distance when the talented Alfred Cunin managed to make a qualified save. Châteaurenard's players were relieved. If Jim Couty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Châteaurenard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Pezet to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cyrille Rolle to make the kick off. Jean-Christophe Munsch hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Châteaurenard's zone, Cyrille Rolle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Cunin came out of the goal and Cyrille Rolle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Cunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrille Rolle, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jim Couty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Jim Couty dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romain Valet, 4-1. 72 minutes into the match, Jim Couty dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romain Valet, 4-2. Antoine Béguin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Romain Valet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Cunin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Rolle in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Donald Abrial was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Champanod's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Châteaurenard the free kick. Donald Abrial kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Cyrille Rolle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Champanod's Basile Paquin in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Châteaurenard's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Champanod had won after a very even match.
