Nelson Vaucher came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by scorpi's Youssef Prodhomme. But to his dismay, Youssef Prodhomme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Chalusson booed when scorpi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Éluard Florence didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edmond Blanchet came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Chalusson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Blanchet couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorien Cherifi in the 13th minute of play forced scorpi's goalkeeper Johan Bauchet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes of play, scorpi's Ewan Bernardin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Vaucher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Bauchet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorien Cherifi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Omer Davesne put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Johan Bauchet. Omer Davesne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Johan Bauchet made a huge save. A hard shot 31 in the game by Omer Davesne from a close distance when the talented Johan Bauchet managed to make a qualified save. scorpi's players were relieved. 34 minutes into the game, scorpi's Youssef Prodhomme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Vaucher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Yannick Loquet charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yannick Loquet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Chalusson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannick Loquet to maneuver through the defense. Victorien Cherifi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youssef Prodhomme made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorien Cherifi in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Bauchet saved scorpi from getting behind. If Victorien Cherifi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorien Cherifi struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Johan Bauchet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalusson. In the 80th minute, Omer Davesne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johan Bauchet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omer Davesne in the 82nd minute of the match. Victorien Cherifi struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Johan Bauchet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalusson. Didier Gaillot kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Omer Davesne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Bauchet having to interfere. In the 89th minute Omer Davesne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Bauchet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
