After 10th play minutes Jim Mossberg shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jim Queva and just under the crossbar into goal. Elano Ortiz's late challenge caught a Massy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elano Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. Farid Pasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Corentin Certain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Hautbois blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Queva having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Corentin Certain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Chevet in the 52nd minute of play. Elano Ortiz lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in TREBES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Farid Pasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Chevet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Corentin Certain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corentin Certain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Schell in the 68th minute of play. Corentin Certain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Paul Quilichini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corentin Certain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Chevet, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 80 minutes, Gustave Debout mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TREBES and the Massy players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Paul Quilichini in the 87th minute of play forced TREBES's goalkeeper Corentin Certain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 98 played minutes, Massy's Faudel Carabin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Corentin Certain came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Massy reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Massy had won after a very even match.
