In the 3rdth minute of the game David Genin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verrières's Hervé Etcheberry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hervé Etcheberry was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and David Genin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Genin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Attiches booed when Verrières was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Métro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Noe Montier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hervé Etcheberry. Verrières's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noe Montier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hervé Etcheberry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Genin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Leopold Raybaud kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Charly Bizet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Verrières's Hervé Etcheberry got control of the ball when Noe Montier tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Genin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hervé Etcheberry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verrières's Samir Métro got a free kick in the 30th minute. David Genin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kilian Tisseyre in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raoul Ansel saved Attiches from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
If David Genin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Genin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hervé Etcheberry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noe Montier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, David Genin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, David Genin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Attiches's supporters rose to their feet, but David Genin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hervé Etcheberry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Verrières's Martial Sigaud got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Verrières's Kilian Tisseyre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raoul Ansel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Rodrigo Raguin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raoul Ansel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Kilian Tisseyre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Attiches's Raoul Ansel got control of the ball when Kilian Tisseyre tried to sneak it across the goal line.
