After a defensive mix-up in Lesigny's zone, Pacôme Jouanin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorien Brouet came out of the goal and Pacôme Jouanin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lesigny getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Titouan Herbaut hit a great ball. 20 minutes in the game, Mehdi Cavalli dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 22nd minute Mehdi Cavalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorien Brouet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Titouan Herbaut hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Arnage's Vivien Nicolini tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mehdi Cavalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorien Brouet having to interfere. When Pacôme Jouanin came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Arnage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacôme Jouanin couldn't finish the play. Daniel Millan made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Dilan Peyrache sent off a good shot on target. Arnage's Daniel Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Colleu in the 39th minute of play. Dilan Peyrache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Daniel Millan made a huge save. In the 45th match minute, Arnage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gérard Bardel to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moise Colleu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Arnage booed when Lesigny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Titouan Herbaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Moise Colleu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lesigny's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Colleu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Titouan Herbaut kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mehdi Cavalli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorien Brouet was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Vivien Nicolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorien Brouet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Cavalli in the 85th minute of play. Dilan Peyrache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 minutes of play, Lesigny's Moise Colleu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lesigny were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arnage for a fine match.
