After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Teddy Grenot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Damien Glatigny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hercule Charvin in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thierry Kancel to strike the kick off in the second half. If Teddy Grenot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of OGC Nissartitude booed when FC.DIGOVILLES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damien Glatigny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 74th match minute, FC.DIGOVILLES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léon Guine to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC.DIGOVILLES's zone, Thierry Kancel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Gamba came out of the goal and Thierry Kancel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Desrues's late challenge caught a FC.DIGOVILLES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Desrues helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in OGC Nissartitude fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! 88 minutes into the match, OGC Nissartitude's goalkeeper Damien Glatigny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul-Henri Bondu. Teddy Grenot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Gamba having to interfere. Paul-Henri Bondu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damien Glatigny made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Paul-Henri Bondu sent off a good shot on target. If Hercule Charvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damien Glatigny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul-Henri Bondu in the 99th minute. OGC Nissartitude walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
