Fabian Hauguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Enzo Devaux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paris Saint-Germain FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guesnain the free kick. Enzo Devaux kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Abdel Taillard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romain Freslon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Pierre-Louis Drieux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guesnain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Louis Drieux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Abdel Taillard fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paris Saint-Germain FC's protests and gave Abdel Taillard a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paris Saint-Germain FC's zone, Henri Blois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Couton came out of the goal and Henri Blois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdel Taillard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Romain Freslon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Pierre-Louis Drieux got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Paris Saint-Germain FC's zone, Luc Le Cunff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Couton came out of the goal and Luc Le Cunff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Johan Bony fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paris Saint-Germain FC's protests and gave Johan Bony a yellow card for diving instead. Henri Blois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Romeo Couton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The throw-in from Nathan Desmet in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Guesnain's Joffrey Fouet. Pierre-Louis Drieux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Couton having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Guesnain's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Raoux came free, but Romain Freslon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romain Freslon was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Abdel Taillard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdel Taillard really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Romain Freslon was a little too slow when Dan Raoux got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-3. Romeo Couton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Louis Drieux, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Guesnain's Romain Freslon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Guesnain from getting a goal against them. Romain Freslon made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Abdel Taillard sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Raoux in the 91st minute of play forced Guesnain's goalkeeper Romain Freslon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guesnain's Romain Freslon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Raoux in the 93rd minute of play. If Henri Blois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Blois in the 97th minute of play forced Paris Saint-Germain FC's goalkeeper Romeo Couton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Paris Saint-Germain FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Guesnain side.
