After a defensive mix-up in Maraîche's zone, Donovan Auroux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernand Bolé came out of the goal and Donovan Auroux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertrand Hascoet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Gendreau, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, René Leignel made a precise shot to the right of Bertrand Hascoet. Barberaz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Donovan Auroux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barberaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donovan Auroux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Jean-Francois Guillevic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donovan Auroux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fernand Bolé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Barberaz's Bertrand Hascoet got control of the ball when René Leignel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertrand Hascoet made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when René Leignel sent off a good shot on target. Bertrand Hascoet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Gendreau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Maraîche's Bertrand Hascoet threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jack Gendreau, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 43 minutes into the match, Barberaz's goalkeeper Bertrand Hascoet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by René Leignel. Barberaz's Jean-Francois Guillevic got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jack Gendreau made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jack Gendreau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes of play, Maraîche's Jack Gendreau made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertrand Hascoet was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Gendreau in the 60th minute of play forced Barberaz's goalkeeper Bertrand Hascoet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jean-Francois Guillevic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barberaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Francois Guillevic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernand Bolé breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donovan Auroux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Jack Gendreau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertrand Hascoet. Barberaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Gendreau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Barberaz's Bertrand Hascoet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Leignel in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Barberaz defense, René Leignel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertrand Hascoet. The Barberaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertrand Hascoet should have stopped the shot. After 83 minutes of play, Maraîche's Jack Gendreau made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertrand Hascoet was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the game, Matheo Piazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barberaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maraîche the free kick. The referee gave Maraîche a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Léopold Mazy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barberaz's Bertrand Hascoet. 6-0. 95 minutes into the match, Jack Gendreau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertrand Hascoet. Barberaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Gendreau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Maraîche were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barberaz for a fine match.
