Breuil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Barnabé Dartiguelongue scored to the left of an out of position Roland Bazin, making the score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Henri Bur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Logez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Breuil's Ghislain Gibault in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rufino FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolas Logez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Bazin having to interfere. If Barnabé Dartiguelongue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Ghislain Gibault cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Germain Silvain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ghislain Gibault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germain Silvain having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bixente Soret during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gildas Burckel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germain Silvain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghislain Gibault, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nicolas Logez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rufino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Logez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Bazin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Gildas Burckel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ghislain Gibault stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rufino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ghislain Gibault came free, but Germain Silvain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Gildas Burckel made a precise shot to the right of Germain Silvain. Rufino FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Nicolas Logez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gildas Burckel came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Breuil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildas Burckel couldn't finish the play. Gildas Burckel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germain Silvain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ghislain Gibault in the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gildas Burckel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breuil's supporters rose to their feet, but Gildas Burckel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Logez in the 82nd minute of play forced Breuil's goalkeeper Roland Bazin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ghislain Gibault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barnabé Dartiguelongue kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Gildas Burckel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germain Silvain having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Ghislain Gibault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bixente Soret hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Rufino FC's Germain Silvain got control of the ball when Gildas Burckel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
