Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fond's Nelson Roturier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harry Gaffet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Côme Potier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Hugo Bagard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Pavie in the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fond's zone, Harry Gaffet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Côme Potier came out of the goal and Harry Gaffet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harry Gaffet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tourcoing's Hugo Bagard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Roturier in the 22nd minute of play. Dimitri Pavie charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitri Pavie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tourcoing's Harry Gaffet got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donatien Fanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Côme Potier having to interfere. A collision led to Tourcoing getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. François Dudon hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Harry Gaffet made the kick off in the second half. Mourad Bajard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Côme Potier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Gaffet, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Josselin Guillonneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Gaffet struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Côme Potier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tourcoing. When Harry Gaffet came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tourcoing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Gaffet couldn't finish the play. Harry Gaffet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Tourcoing got a freekick which was hit by Donatien Fanni. Harry Gaffet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harry Gaffet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Gaffet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Côme Potier having to interfere. Côme Potier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Gaffet in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Dimitri Pavie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Harry Gaffet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tourcoing's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Gaffet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Côme Potier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tourcoing fully deserved thier win.
