Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arthur Viard got the match started through his kick off. Jolan Chalier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémie Savignat, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 11 minutes, Lucas Godier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beynost and the Bernalet players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute of the match Eden Hatte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jolan Chalier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Beynost getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eymeric Habert hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Arthur Viard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Carayon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Bernalet's Jérémie Savignat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jolan Chalier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jolan Chalier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémie Savignat in the 39th minute of play.
The wind increased when Philibert Blois made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Jérémie Savignat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jolan Chalier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Philibert Blois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jolan Chalier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beynost's Jolan Chalier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Beynost from getting a goal against them. Georges Mesnard kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Beynost's Jolan Chalier got control of the ball when Jérémie Savignat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jérémie Savignat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jolan Chalier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claude Carayon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Viard's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Bernalet's Claude Carayon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jérôme Kubler in the 89th minute of play. Jérôme Kubler struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Claude Carayon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beynost. In the 94th match minute, Bernalet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfried Gouin to maneuver through the defense. Beynost were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Bernalet's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bixente Levant took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bixente Levant got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claude Carayon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
