The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michel Coulomb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. The tension between the Frileuse and the Argonay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Argonay booed when Frileuse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Olivier Riguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frileuse's Dimitri Verot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Coulomb in the 14th minute of play. Michel Coulomb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Frileuse defense, Kevin Gand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitri Verot. The Frileuse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitri Verot should have stopped the shot. The Argonay fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Argonay's Michel Coulomb looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dimitri Verot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Coulomb's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentin Moritz in the 28th minute of play forced Frileuse's goalkeeper Dimitri Verot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Coulomb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri Verot having to interfere. Dimitri Verot didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Argonay's Florentin Moritz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Florentin Moritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitri Verot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Louis Villeneuve in the 42nd minute of the match. Pierre-Olivier Riguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Pascaud having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Frileuse's zone, Michel Coulomb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitri Verot came out of the goal and Michel Coulomb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentin Moritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri Verot having to interfere. Dimitri Verot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Coulomb, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Gand in the 61st minute of play forced Frileuse's goalkeeper Dimitri Verot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitri Verot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentin Moritz in the 62nd minute. Pierre-Louis Villeneuve kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Michel Coulomb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dimitri Verot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre-Louis Villeneuve kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Michel Coulomb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Florentin Moritz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Argonay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentin Moritz couldn't finish the play. Argonay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
