Oscar Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bacary Ramsamy in the 14th minute of the match. If Djibril Meslin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Vieira came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deulemont's Bacary Ramsamy. But to his dismay, Bacary Ramsamy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Oscar Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bacary Ramsamy's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Bacary Ramsamy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Oscar Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Pierron's late challenge caught a marseille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Pierron helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Deulemont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Pierron to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes marseille got a freekick which was hit by Faudel Malecot. Oscar Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bacary Ramsamy in the 35th minute of the match. Bacary Ramsamy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Sylvain Reinhart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deulemont's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylvain Reinhart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deulemont's Djimmy Beaugrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djibril Meslin in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Faudel Malecot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Djimmy Beaugrand. The goal made the score 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Oscar Vieira was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Bacary Ramsamy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bacary Ramsamy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in marseille's zone, Sylvain Reinhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Vieira came out of the goal and Sylvain Reinhart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sylvain Reinhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bacary Ramsamy in the 72nd minute of the match. Deulemont's Bacary Ramsamy got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylvain Reinhart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bacary Ramsamy in the 87th minute of play forced marseille's goalkeeper Oscar Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
