Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edmond Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Archambaud having to interfere. Edmond Yang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Mehdi Archambaud skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Steevy Baguet's late challenge caught a Montanay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steevy Baguet helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Rognac got a freekick which was hit by Steevy Baguet. If Edmond Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehdi Archambaud was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Loïc Sohier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Edmond Yang struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mehdi Archambaud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rognac. Edmond Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mehdi Archambaud made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loïc Sohier in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehdi Archambaud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Loïc Sohier notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Montanay's Mehdi Archambaud. Mehdi Archambaud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehdi Archambaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loïc Sohier in the 47th minute of play. Edmond Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Mehdi Archambaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmond Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Djamel Dehon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Rocher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Montanay got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Mandon. 61 minutes into the match, Montanay's goal looked a bit too open when Loïc Sohier came free, but Mehdi Archambaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Edmond Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi Archambaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rognac's goalkeeper Rudy Rocher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Carion struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rudy Rocher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montanay. Montanay's Mehdi Archambaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loïc Sohier in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Montanay got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Mandon. Steevy Baguet was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Rognac got a corner. Montanay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rayan Hay ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rayan Hay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montanay's Mehdi Archambaud did a great save. 84 minutes into the game, Terry Chabanne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montanay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rognac the free kick. A collision led to Montanay getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Terry Chabanne hit a great ball. Edmond Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89thth minute of the game Edmond Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montanay's Mehdi Archambaud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montanay's zone, Loïc Sohier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehdi Archambaud came out of the goal and Loïc Sohier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexis Folliot kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Rognac players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
