Gaétan Deniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémy Métay, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Saint Martin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ange Thomas charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ange Thomas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Saint Martin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ange Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Calvin Panis hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the game, one of Cangé:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The corner ended in Junior Salomon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cangé's Gaétan Deniel did a great save. Hassan Hanquez's late challenge caught a Cangé's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hassan Hanquez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Hassan Hanquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Fernandez in the 97th minute of play forced Saint Martin's goalkeeper Amaury Tanghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Calvin Panis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cangé had won after a very even match.
