Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gildas Charneau started the match with the kick off. Evan Piguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Delaforge having to interfere. The supporters of Saint Martin booed when Douai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Henri Corlay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saint Martin's Junior Salomon took a good shot, in the 5th minute, which hit the crossbar above Marcel Delaforge's head, and flew over the goal. Douai's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Saint Martin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jérémy Métay got free with Marcel Delaforge in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amaury Tanghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildas Charneau in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute Bastien Bourdel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amaury Tanghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jérémy Métay got free with Marcel Delaforge in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Bastien Bourdel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amaury Tanghe. Saint Martin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastien Bourdel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Douai's Marcel Delaforge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Douai from getting a goal against them. Amaury Tanghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastien Bourdel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evan Piguet in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Delaforge saved Douai from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Douai's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Piguet came free, but Marcel Delaforge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastien Bourdel in the 34th minute of play forced Saint Martin's goalkeeper Amaury Tanghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Gildas Charneau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildas Charneau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jérémy Métay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Marcel Delaforge made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Bastien Bourdel made a precise shot to the right of Amaury Tanghe. Saint Martin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 43 minutes into the game, Bastien Bourdel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Douai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Martin the free kick. After a rather tough play, Douai's Bastien Bourdel got a free kick in the 43rd minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evan Piguet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel Delaforge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Piguet in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Gildas Charneau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Amaury Tanghe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 59 in the game by Gildas Charneau from a close distance when the talented Amaury Tanghe managed to make a qualified save. Saint Martin's players were relieved. 60 minutes into the match, Douai's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Piguet came free, but Marcel Delaforge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ange Thomas's late challenge caught a Douai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ange Thomas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saint Martin getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ange Thomas hit a great ball. Luc Massonneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amaury Tanghe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paul-Henri Corlay. After having played for 78 minutes, Adam Isidore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Isidore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amaury Tanghe was a little too slow when Gildas Charneau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Douai's goal looked a bit too open when Jérémy Métay came free, but Marcel Delaforge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Delaforge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ange Thomas in the 86th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Gildas Charneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint Martin's Amaury Tanghe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérémy Métay in the 91st minute of play forced Douai's goalkeeper Marcel Delaforge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Delaforge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evan Piguet in the 92nd minute of the match. When Evan Gaude fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Martin's protests and gave Evan Gaude a yellow card for diving instead. Paul-Henri Corlay didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
