Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teddy Cabioch kicked off to start the match. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Joey Fleurant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Teddy Cabioch took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joey Fleurant to make any attempt to save it. Olivier Colonna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Joey Fleurant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joey Fleurant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Le Roux in the 15th minute. FC Sochaux Montbéliard's Joey Fleurant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddy Cabioch in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nilvange defense, Kevin Marco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clovis Soury. The Nilvange fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clovis Soury should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Alexandre Boehler took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Joey Fleurant to make any attempt to save it. Jaime Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Clovis Soury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Alexandre Boehler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nilvange fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Sochaux Montbéliard's zone, Eymeric Marécaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joey Fleurant came out of the goal and Eymeric Marécaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Alexandre Boehler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joey Fleurant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 40 minutes into the game, Dimitri Sassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Sochaux Montbéliard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nilvange the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Sochaux Montbéliard's Dimitri Sassi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Clovis Soury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Marco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Sochaux Montbéliard defense, Dan Le Roux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joey Fleurant. The FC Sochaux Montbéliard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey Fleurant should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Gourlaouen in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Sochaux Montbéliard's goalkeeper Joey Fleurant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Dan Le Roux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nilvange fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Joey Fleurant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Colonna, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the FC Sochaux Montbéliard defense, Teddy Cabioch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joey Fleurant. The FC Sochaux Montbéliard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey Fleurant should have stopped the shot. FC Sochaux Montbéliard's Samy Thieffry was substituted for Hugo Melchior. FC Sochaux Montbéliard's Daryl Delaforge was substituted for John Patoux. FC Sochaux Montbéliard's Joey Fleurant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Boehler in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Nilvange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moussa Esposito to maneuver through the defense. FC Sochaux Montbéliard made a substitution. Victorino Inko replaced Kevin Marco. A collision led to Nilvange getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Moussa Esposito hit a great ball. Joey Fleurant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Cabioch in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Nilvange's Alexandre Boehler made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joey Fleurant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clovis Soury was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victorino Inko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 9-2 in the 85 minute of play. In the 90th minute Teddy Cabioch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Fleurant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Inko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clovis Soury. That made the score 9-4 in the 99 minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nilvange had played much better football throughout.
