Brice Bore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Cadaujac's goalkeeper Luc Poletti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Charles Godeau. Jean-Pierre Carrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Galopin took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Sébastien Lavallee. Jean-Sébastien Lavallee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Bore in the 26th minute of play forced FC LA ROCHELLE's goalkeeper Jean-Sébastien Lavallee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Charles Godeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC LA ROCHELLE's goalkeeper Jean-Sébastien Lavallee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean-Charles Godeau struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Luc Poletti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LA ROCHELLE. With a little luck, Cadaujac's Luc Poletti got control of the ball when Jean-Charles Godeau tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Charles Godeau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brice Bore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jean-Sébastien Lavallee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Sébastien Lavallee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Bore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cadaujac's Brice Bore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jean-Sébastien Lavallee. That made the score 0-2 after 61 minutes of play. Jean-Sébastien Lavallee made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Bryan Galopin sent off a good shot on target. If Brice Bore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brice Bore in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Sébastien Lavallee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the game, Jean-Pierre Carrey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LA ROCHELLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadaujac the free kick. After 89 played minutes FC LA ROCHELLE got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Pierre Carrey. Brice Bore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Sébastien Lavallee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The FC LA ROCHELLE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cadaujac's performance. The match ended with a win for Cadaujac.
