Julien Julie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Charneau having to interfere. If John Capelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavian Charneau was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Julien Julie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julien Julie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Marseillan's Alfred Schmitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Dupret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute John Capelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavian Charneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bergue's Eric Dupret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Schmitz in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Bergue getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dilan Laheurte hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Bergue got a freekick which was hit by Dilan Laheurte. Julien Julie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Charneau having to interfere. John Capelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If John Capelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bergue's Dilan Laheurte suffered a sprained foot after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jonas Gauthey charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Gauthey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Marseillan got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Gauthey. Carl Beauregard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Capelle to make the kick off. John Capelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Flavian Charneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Marseillan's goal looked a bit too open when John Capelle came free, but Flavian Charneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Capelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Charneau having to interfere. Romuald Abgrall's late challenge caught a Marseillan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romuald Abgrall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Bergue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romuald Abgrall to maneuver through the defense. When John Capelle fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergue's protests and gave John Capelle a yellow card for diving instead. 83 minutes into the match, Marseillan's goal looked a bit too open when John Capelle came free, but Flavian Charneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bergue booed when Marseillan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Marie Bonnat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Bergue got a corner. Marseillan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marvin Wallon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bergue were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
