Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Titouan Demol made the kick off which started today's match. When Edmond Vandenbroucke came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC Rouen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Vandenbroucke couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Soulier during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cormarin's Roland Soulier got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 12 minutes of play, FC Rouen's Darren Paget made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Colombel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmond Vandenbroucke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Stephane Havez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sacha Constans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephane Havez in the 23rd minute of play. Jacob Parsy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sacha Constans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Darren Paget could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Leon Colombel made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Raphael Vielle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match, Edmond Vandenbroucke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leon Colombel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sacha Constans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titouan Demol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, FC Rouen's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Parsy came free, but Sacha Constans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eliott Druart fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rouen's protests and gave Eliott Druart a yellow card for diving instead. Eliott Druart kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Titouan Demol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmond Vandenbroucke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Colombel having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmond Vandenbroucke was the one to do the kick off. Cormarin's Roland Soulier got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Roland Soulier off the ground. Roland Soulier hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Reynald Cuinet's late challenge caught a FC Rouen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynald Cuinet helped the player get up and apologised. Reynald Cuinet kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. FC Rouen's Etienne Dartois got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 minutes, Stephane Havez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cormarin and the FC Rouen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Cormarin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephane Havez to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Parsy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sacha Constans firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sacha Constans made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jacob Parsy sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Darren Paget managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rouen's supporters rose to their feet, but Darren Paget was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Colombel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sacha Constans made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Jacob Parsy sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cormarin getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Stephane Havez hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Cormarin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Rouen:s goal. In the 83rd match minute, FC Rouen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etienne Dartois to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Parsy struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Sacha Constans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cormarin. If Darren Paget had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cormarin defense, Darren Paget kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Colombel. The Cormarin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Colombel should have stopped the shot. When Jacob Parsy came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Cormarin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Parsy couldn't finish the play. FC Rouen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cormarin for a fine match.
