Achille Broyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerome Demars got free with Achille Broyer in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean-Paul Le Clainche showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. murs erigne's Jonatan Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Bernede in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Bernede to make the kick off.
