Dorian Jouy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. During the 17th minute of the match Marvin Roudaut completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marvin Roudaut a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marvin Roudaut kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Djibril Grasset had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franck Micheau. Auberlach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djibril Grasset was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Franck Micheau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentin Delacourt in the 26th minute. A collision led to Club Football Grenoble getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildas Malaterre made a kick off. Cyril Boehm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dorian Jouy made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Bidart during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 56 minutes into the game, one of Club Football Grenoble:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Auberlach's Hubert Bodin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dorian Jouy. 64 minutes into the match, Club Football Grenoble's goal looked a bit too open when Gildas Malaterre came free, but Dorian Jouy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bakary Pinon struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Franck Micheau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Football Grenoble. After 76 minutes of play, Auberlach's Cyril Boehm made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorian Jouy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Auberlach's Cyril Boehm got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gildas Malaterre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Jouy having to interfere. If Florentin Delacourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Florentin Delacourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Auberlach eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
