Justin Grattepanche made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gustave Pesquet sent off a good shot on target. Gaston Perrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand De Sousa having to interfere. Bertrand De Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Rochais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertrand De Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Perrin's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Gaston Perrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Francois-Xavier Platel made a precise shot to the right of Justin Grattepanche. Entrevernes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francois-Xavier Platel in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justin Grattepanche saved Entrevernes from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Theil's Lorenzo Dhenin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Luka Rochais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand De Sousa having to interfere. If Luka Rochais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Gaston Perrin made a precise shot to the right of Bertrand De Sousa. Theil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Entrevernes were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francois-Xavier Platel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Patrice Chopin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertrand De Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Rochais in the 61st minute. If Luka Rochais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francois-Xavier Platel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Justin Grattepanche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustave Pesquet in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justin Grattepanche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justin Grattepanche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francois-Xavier Platel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francois-Xavier Platel in the 76th minute of play forced Entrevernes's goalkeeper Justin Grattepanche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
