Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hamid Porquet got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Saliers's goal looked a bit too open when Barnabe Bueno came free, but Bacary Cerveaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saliers's Frédéric Cavalier got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Barnabe Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Loic Deydier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bacary Cerveaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Larnod's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hamid Porquet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Barnabe Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Barnabe Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saliers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! When Gabin Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saliers's protests and gave Gabin Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Saliers got a freekick which was hit by Gabin Oliviero. Loic Deydier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Hamid Porquet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gilles Hertzog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Porquet in the 43rd minute of the match. The Saliers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Larnod were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loic Deydier to strike the kick off in the second half. Barnabe Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bacary Cerveaux having to interfere. Hamid Porquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamid Porquet in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilles Hertzog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilles Hertzog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédéric Cavalier in the 63rd minute of play. Jean-Baptiste Seurin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Roland Suire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilles Hertzog showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frédéric Cavalier scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilles Hertzog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bacary Cerveaux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loic Deydier's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Bacary Cerveaux came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Larnod's Barnabe Bueno. But to his dismay, Barnabe Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 90th minute, Hamid Porquet made a precise shot to the right of Gilles Hertzog. Larnod's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Larnod failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
