The audience thought a goal was coming when Hubert Seiler got free with Marouane Marquis in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marouane Marquis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Lajoie, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lenny Lajoie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Vivien Cyrille got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Robert Jacquemin made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sacconges getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Florian Briard hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Lenny Lajoie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marouane Marquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Lenny Lajoie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marouane Marquis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hubert Seiler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marouane Marquis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 76 minutes Jury's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sébastian Bruyas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sébastian Bruyas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jury's Marouane Marquis did a great save. The Jury fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Jury's Vivien Cyrille looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute, Sacconges's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robert Jacquemin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
