Valleroy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylvain Hédin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Toulon's goal looked a bit too open when Toufik Larrieu came free, but Franz Tempier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Toulon booed when Valleroy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Castello didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sylvain Hédin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Valleroy defense, Gauthier Adélaide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Michel Dureuil. The Valleroy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Michel Dureuil should have stopped the shot. Sammy Neuville might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franz Tempier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sammy Neuville ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean-Michel Dureuil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvain Hédin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Erwann Godineau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sylvain Hédin to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Valleroy got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Aubard. 59 minutes into the match, Valleroy's goalkeeper Jean-Michel Dureuil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gauthier Adélaide. In the 68th play minute Gauthier Adélaide came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jean-Michel Dureuil. 1-4. In the 71st minute, Sylvain Hédin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gauthier Adélaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Tempier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Neuville, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 92 played minutes, Toulon's Anthony Vandenabeele shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Michel Dureuil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Toulon reached it. Franz Tempier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toufik Larrieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Valleroy's Sammy Neuville got a free kick in the 95th minute.
