Davy Le Marec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eden Duchemin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Margency's zone, Oscar Gigant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Désiré Hauet came out of the goal and Oscar Gigant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Margency was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Laloy to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Floirac's Geoffrey Troadec broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Margency's goal looked a bit too open when Victorien Ponton came free, but Désiré Hauet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Margency's Samir Henry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eden Duchemin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Noa Davaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Samir Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margency's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samir Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Oscar Gigant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margency's Désiré Hauet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar Gigant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Désiré Hauet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Désiré Hauet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Gigant in the 38th minute of play. Oscar Gigant struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Désiré Hauet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floirac. If Victorien Ponton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Gigant to strike the kick off in the second half. Samir Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eden Duchemin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Victorien Ponton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oscar Gigant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Désiré Hauet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Gigant in the 75th minute of play forced Margency's goalkeeper Désiré Hauet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Margency's Davy Le Marec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eden Duchemin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eden Duchemin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davy Le Marec in the 79th minute of play. Désiré Hauet was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geoffrey Troadec. 88 minutes into the match, Margency's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Gigant came free, but Désiré Hauet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Floirac's Victorien Ponton got a free kick in the 91st minute. Davy Le Marec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Samir Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margency's supporters rose to their feet, but Samir Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eden Duchemin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Floirac's Gilbert Bouilly got a free kick in the 96th minute.
