Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bérenger Briez made the kick off and thus started the match. Ronald Portes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bérenger Briez's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Bérenger Briez fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montmartre's protests and gave Bérenger Briez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Californie booed when Montmartre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bérenger Briez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Jonas Heurtaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montmartre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Heurtaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Montmartre's Bérenger Briez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronald Portes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Renan Soreau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gaston Nicoleau made a huge save. Renan Soreau might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Nicoleau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renan Soreau ran back to his position shaking his head. Eden Planche hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Montmartre's goalkeeper Gaston Nicoleau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Soreau. If Jordy Chautard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaston Nicoleau made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Renan Soreau sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, Californie's goal looked a bit too open when Bérenger Briez came free, but Ronald Portes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jordy Chautard made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Montmartre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hercule Jonas to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Nicoleau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordy Chautard's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Kamel Léglise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montmartre and the Californie players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Montmartre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamel Léglise to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordy Chautard in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Nicoleau saved Montmartre from getting behind. Ronald Portes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonin Erb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Nicoleau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Chautard in the 72nd minute of play. Renan Soreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Soreau struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gaston Nicoleau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Californie. A collision led to Montmartre getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kamel Léglise hit a great ball. Renan Soreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Nicoleau having to interfere. Bérenger Briez got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Montmartre getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bérenger Briez hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Jordy Chautard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Nicoleau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Arthur Lanier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Californie's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
