Junior Bigot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Djimmy Barale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Plaisirois's zone, Junior Bigot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Djimmy Barale came out of the goal and Junior Bigot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Geoffrey Louvrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Pierre Husser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Plaisirois's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Husser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyril Gout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Colon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Olympique Plaisirois's goal looked a bit too open when Geoffrey Louvrier came free, but Djimmy Barale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympique Plaisirois's Cyril Gout got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezy's Bernard Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ezy from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Junior Bigot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ezy's goal looked a bit too open when Cyril Gout came free, but Bernard Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
