Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henri Larive took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Henri Larive shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Mansouri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Tanguy Isambert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chantenay's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanguy Isambert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firmin Mechain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trentemoult's Firmin Mechain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Trentemoult from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, Trentemoult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnabe Martinet to maneuver through the defense. Chantenay's Hocine Mansouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Larive in the 18th minute of play. Herbert Stevenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hocine Mansouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Henri Larive mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trentemoult and the Chantenay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Trentemoult getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Henri Larive hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Davy Pamphile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tanguy Isambert managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hocine Mansouri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Stevenin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hocine Mansouri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Larive in the 39th minute of the match. Henri Larive's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hocine Mansouri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tanguy Isambert made the kick off in the second half. Tanguy Isambert might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Firmin Mechain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanguy Isambert ran back to his position shaking his head. Tanguy Isambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Firmin Mechain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Henri Larive rounded Chantenay's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Firmin Mechain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noël Cœur in the 62nd minute of play. When Joe Poree fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trentemoult's protests and gave Joe Poree a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Joe Poree hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tanguy Isambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trentemoult's Firmin Mechain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanguy Isambert in the 72nd minute of play. When Tanguy Isambert came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chantenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanguy Isambert couldn't finish the play. Tanguy Isambert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Mechain having to interfere. Trentemoult were furious when Gaspard Sauer was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Trentemoult:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chantenay:s goal. In the 92nd minute Tanguy Isambert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmin Mechain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trentemoult's Davy Pamphile got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
