Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Flavian Dor got the match started through his kick off. Sorges's Alphonse Briffaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrice Loussouarn in the 3rd minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Felicien Kervarec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eguilles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorges the free kick. Fabrice Loussouarn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alphonse Briffaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sorges's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrice Loussouarn came free, but Alphonse Briffaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modeste Delecluse came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnaud Tauzin could save by the left post. In the 25th minute, Flavian Dor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arnaud Tauzin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavian Dor in the 26th minute of the match. Modeste Delecluse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrice Loussouarn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sorges's zone, Sofiane Bourre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alphonse Briffaut came out of the goal and Sofiane Bourre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alphonse Briffaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofiane Bourre in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Fabrice Loussouarn made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sofiane Bourre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eguilles's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofiane Bourre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alphonse Briffaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrice Loussouarn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alphonse Briffaut came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabrice Loussouarn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 54th minute. The supporters of Eguilles booed when Sorges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léonard Viot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofiane Bourre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Alphonse Briffaut skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 63 played minutes Sorges got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Mertens. Arnaud Tauzin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modeste Delecluse in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrice Loussouarn in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alphonse Briffaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Flavian Dor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sorges fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 78th minute, Modeste Delecluse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaud Tauzin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Flavian Dor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play, Sorges's Flavian Dor made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaud Tauzin was left in no man's land by his defense there!
