Anthony Laporte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoît Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bouillargues booed when Auby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Heckel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benoît Nunes to make the kick off.
