Guisseray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bousbach the free kick. A collision led to Guisseray getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Xavier Guinot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Auguste Florin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaël Freulon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Deruelle's late challenge caught a Guisseray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Deruelle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Mathias Deruelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bousbach getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gaël Freulon hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Anthony Delassus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Stéphane Belot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Xavier Guinot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lilian Vautier's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Xavier Guinot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Delassus, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Auguste Florin was a little too slow when Laurent Ganivet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 80thth minute of the game Marc-Aurèle Delbart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bousbach's Xavier Guinot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lilian Vautier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guisseray's zone, Gaël Freulon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Auguste Florin came out of the goal and Gaël Freulon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
