Bixente Dejoux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffroy Aury in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Véretz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grégory Brenot to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Sofyane Duron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raymond Chêneau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Véretz's Raymond Chêneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofyane Duron in the 22nd minute of play. Sofyane Duron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Alain got free with Bixente Dejoux in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ohnheim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Morgan Alain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bixente Dejoux having to interfere. Raymond Chêneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Gimbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaud Mary in the 81st minute of play forced Ohnheim's goalkeeper Bixente Dejoux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Mike Gimbert made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Véretz's Raymond Chêneau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bixente Dejoux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Alain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Dardenne kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Morgan Alain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bixente Dejoux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Alain in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoffroy Aury in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bixente Dejoux prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ohnheim walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
