Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Charles Franc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Valérien Sabin made a huge save. The supporters of Real Avilés booed when Monerie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kilian Melot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevan Will's shot from long distance in the 8th minute was not bad at all, but Monerie's Valérien Sabin knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Clem Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Richaud in the 10th minute of play. Samuel Richaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Clem Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hippolyte Lion sped through Real Avilés's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clem Camara. In the 28th minute Hippolyte Lion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hippolyte Lion in the 29th minute of play forced Real Avilés's goalkeeper Clem Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Monerie's Samuel Richaud made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clem Camara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Juge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Real Avilés's Charles Franc got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolphe Schuler hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Real Avilés's Flavien Burger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hippolyte Lion made a kick off. Clem Camara made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Samuel Richaud sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Real Avilés's Clem Camara got control of the ball when Samuel Richaud tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Charles Franc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valérien Sabin was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Monerie's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Richaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clem Camara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Jean-Pierre Hummel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Hippolyte Lion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
