Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hervé Plazanet started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Junior Leprince managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viriat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Leprince was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Madjid Boutier kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Marcel Weil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphaël Werle skillfully saved the ball. Marius Allier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Allan Bossut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viriat and the Crévion players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Éric Laffargue kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augustin Le Quère. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. Patxi Espitalier hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of Viriat booed when Crévion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Auguste Beauchamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Le Quère made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éric Laffargue in the 47th minute of play.
The wind increased when Éric Laffargue made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Hervé Plazanet lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Raphaël Werle. Crévion's Augustin Le Quère played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Leprince in the 58th minute of play. If Hervé Plazanet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Junior Leprince sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcel Weil fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crévion's protests and gave Marcel Weil a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Viriat booed when Crévion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Weil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Madjid Boutier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augustin Le Quère showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Crévion's goal looked a bit too open when Éric Laffargue came free, but Augustin Le Quère reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Le Quère took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éric Laffargue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Le Quère showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Leprince, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éric Laffargue in the 86th minute of play forced Crévion's goalkeeper Augustin Le Quère to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Crévion's Marius Allier got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
