Flavien Goetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hervé Sardin in the 7th minute of play. Hervé Sardin might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavien Goetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hervé Sardin ran back to his position shaking his head. Donovan Houdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gaspard Dupoux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Mimet's Pierre-Olivier Guèdes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspard Dupoux was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the game, Ulysse Basile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabrials's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mimet the free kick. Ulysse Basile hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The Cabrials players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mimet were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donovan Houdin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ryan Richaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Flavien Goetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mimet's Flavien Goetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hervé Sardin in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Donovan Houdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mimet's supporters rose to their feet, but Donovan Houdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavien Goetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ryan Richaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
